How It Works
This Abacus System consists of nine levels including preliminary level. Level 1 is the novice level, and level 8 is the most advanced. The training takes approximately 2-3 years to complete. Normally, dramatic improvement in math capability is evident after only the first year, when the student has achieved level 4th or 5th.
Show brilliance at young age
A student who has already demonstrated advanced ability in mathematics will benefit greatly from learning the abacus method. Relieved of the mechanics of arithmetic calculation, the student will be able to devote full attention to more advanced concepts both in mathematics and in other subject areas.
Mental GYM
As we all know, regular weight training will produce more dense muscles for our body. The same is true for our brain. Regular Speed Listening training produces a much denser synapses network, capable of a higher volume and speed of communication between brain cells.
Our Process
Enhances Visualization
The children are trained to visualize the abacus and move imaginary beads in their mind when the sums are read out to them. By continuous practice, they learn to visualize and imagine whatever has been taught, like diagrams in biology, maps in geography or any other subject. It also applies to activities other than studies.
Increases Concentration & Listening Skills
For every question to be answered correctly, children have to listen to the sum that is being read and concentrate on it so as to visualize it in their mind. This becomes a habit when exercised regularly throughout the abacus training for a period of 2 and half years. It applies to all subjects by imbibing better listening skills.
Develops Logical Understanding
While a child visualize the questions on the imaginary abacus after listening to it, they have to apply logic to do the proper movement of beads in the mind. This ability also helps the kids to apply logics in various situations and even in real-life scenarios.
Ability to Recall
At the end, the children recall the picture of the abacus with relevant bead movements, and answer confidently and accurately. Recalling is most important for students as they may study too much but unless they can recall, they cannot score good, either in abacus or in any other examination..
